OpenTable publishes its Irish prices, which is more than most booking systems do. As of 21 October 2026 the plans are Core at €169 a month and Pro at €299 a month.
The cover fee
On top of the subscription, you pay €1.50 per seated diner who found you through OpenTable's own website, app or affiliate network. Bookings that come through your own website, by phone or as walk-ins cost nothing extra. No-shows and cancellations aren't charged.
So a 60-seat restaurant that gets 300 covers a month from the OpenTable network pays €450 in cover fees on top of €169. The question to ask is how many of those diners would have found you anyway.
Other charges
- 3.5% service fee on prepaid Experiences and ticketed events.
- Premium SMS messaging is a €19 a month add-on on Core.
The contract
Standard contracts run for one year and renew automatically. To stop renewal you must notify OpenTable at least 30 days before the renewal date. Put that date in your calendar the day you sign.
How it compares
ResDiary and SevenRooms don't publish Irish prices, so get written quotes and ask the same five questions of each: monthly and setup fee; any per-cover or per-booking charge and on which bookings; contract length and notice; till integration; whether you can export your guest list if you leave. Our comparison keeps the three side by side.
