Tap & Pass

Questions, answered

Is Tap & Pass free?

Yes. News, comparisons, free tools, the jobs board and industry nights are free to use. Paid staff and business memberships add extras like the loyalty card and venue profiles, and they open once there are enough partners for the discounts to be worth paying for.

Where does the news come from?

From official feeds of Irish trade bodies and newspapers: Hospitality Ireland, the Restaurants Association of Ireland, the Licensed Vintners Association, the Irish Examiner and The Irish Times. We show the headline and link to the original. We never copy articles.

Are the comparisons sponsored?

No. Sponsored placements are always labelled Sponsored and sit in their own slots. They never change a comparison, ranking or award result.

How do I post a job or an industry night?

Use the free form on the Jobs or Industry nights page. Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live, usually the same day. We don't publish listings we can't verify.

How do the templates work?

Each template is a download you keep. They're built for Irish rules: employer PRSI, 9% and 23% VAT, and the 14 allergens. Each purchase is licensed for one venue.

Can I get a refund?

Monthly plans can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the paid month. If a paid feature doesn't work as described, email us within 14 days for a full refund of that month. See the cancellations and refunds page.

Do you build websites and menus?

Yes, through the Studio. Every job is quoted in writing before it starts, and you're shown how to update prices, hours and specials yourself afterwards.

Who is behind it?

Stuart Coleman, a sole trader based in Dublin who works in and builds digital tools for Dublin pubs and restaurants.
